Monets Garden (a3) by Richard Impey

Features

ARTIST NOTES: ‘Monet’s Garden’ was inspired by my trip to Monet's garden, Giverny, France in 2024. Rather than many images of Monet’s Garden that have been produced by others, I decided to create a bird’s eye view of one of the garden beds. I homed in on the small individual plants, sticks and pebbles that people don’t often observe. The digital image was created using the App Procreate and a hand stylus on an iPad. The image was meticulously hand drawn, taking over 400 hours to produce. It was professionally printed on Ilford Cotton Rag paper 310gsm and is an excellent quality archival image.
