I started painting in 2020 after having some lessons with Joy Tatt from the Bendigo Art Academy. I use a mixture of PanPastel, soft pastels and pastel pencils in my work. I try to challenge myself by selecting a range of subjects to paint including still life, human and animal portraits and landscapes. We have a large range of birds on our property just out of Bendigo so I am often drawn to paint those as well. I am a working mother of three boys so unfortunately available painting time is often limited. The impact of COVID has stopped my guided learning but I try to practice as often as I can.
The Bendigo 2023 Art Show was the first time I have ever shown my work and made my very first sale!
